These mats provide a comfortable layer of padding and excellent traction. Mats interlock with each other like a jigsaw puzzle for easy set-up. Squares measure 40" by 40" and are 1" thick. Mat pieces are reversible. We recommend buying either four or nine of these floor pieces. Four pieces make about a 6.5' x 6.5' workout area. Nine pieces make about a 10' x 10' workout area. If you cut a hole to fit the bag in one of the mat pieces, it will keep the bag from shifting during your workout!
